About The Position

As a Construction Manager at Spectrum, you will manage construction efforts of in-house Aerial & Underground Construction teams. You will be responsible for the safety and quality of work performed within the construction department while managing construction efforts of in-house and contract labor for new construction, maintenance, and rebuild projects. Your role will also include achieving the budgeted financial objectives for the Construction Department. You will develop an effective front line Leadership team and assist them with developing their direct reports to drive a high performance culture and environment.

Requirements

• Construction work experience of at least five years.
• Leadership experience of at least three years.
• Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Technical training in cable construction techniques and design preferred.
• Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E).
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within Company required standards.
• Ability to manage emergencies and rapidly changing priorities.
• Ability to effectively direct the work activities of others under all work conditions.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics and electronics.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code and National Electrical Safety Code.
• Ability to read general to complex system layouts from blueprints.
• Ability to operate machinery for underground/overhead cable installation.

Nice To Haves
