About The Position

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the organization adheres to governmental regulations and compliance requirements. You will leverage your technical expertise to navigate complex issues and provide guidance on compliance policies. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness and integrity of the compliance programs. As a key stakeholder, you will collaborate across departmental boundaries and engage with regulatory agencies, contributing towards optimal business outcomes and compliance adherence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in pharmacy and compliance.
  • 3+ years in a Compliance-related, risk management, or managed care field.
  • 7 years of pharmacy experience in claims operations.
  • 1 year of management or leadership experience.
  • Strong communication skills with effective influencing ability.
  • Experience interacting with regulatory agencies.
  • Knowledge of health care industry regulations.
  • Understanding of PBM operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Audit or consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
  • Research compliance issues and recommend necessary changes.
  • Maintain relationships with government agencies and coordinate site visits.
  • Assist in the development of compliance strategies for Medicare-related functions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and create annual work plans.
  • Oversee the performance of Regulatory Compliance senior professionals.
  • Communicate and present compliance matters to outside regulators.
  • Work with various operational units to enhance data analytics.
  • Coordinate on-site audits with business partners.
