The mission of Global PMI Compliance is to support and oversee the management of compliance risks by . . . Empowering and enabling . . . management, employees and close third parties . . . to meet applicable external (legal, regulatory, industry) and internal (policy) requirements . . . by providing them with the tools, knowledge and advice . . . to do their jobs in an ethical and compliant way Assessing risk, monitor ongoing compliance, test compliance controls, and investigate allegations of potential non-compliance Driving a culture of compliance that encourages raising concerns about potential or actual compliance violations and pro-active addressing of issues PMI Global Compliance develops, drives and delivers a compliance program based on five strategic pillars (Governance & Risk, Policy & Process, Training & Communications, Investigations & Monitoring, and Compliance Advisory), with a subject matter focus on Code of Conduct & Ethics, Conflicts of Interest, Speaking Up, and legal compliance topics such as Anti-Corruption program. Your ‘day to day’: This role will support the implementation and operationalization of the U.S. Compliance Program, including through program management support, communications and training initiatives, reporting and data analytics, and special projects. This role will also provide growth opportunities for the Manager to develop expertise in compliance by working on substantive compliance matters, e.g., anti-corruption and competition law, in close collaboration with the U.S. Compliance team and other subject matter experts.
