Raytheon Global Ethics & Compliance (GEC) has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Compliance specializing in Data Privacy. This role is part of the GEC Global Compliance Programs and reports to the Associate Director, Privacy and Cyber Counsel. The Manager will provide guidance and support on compliance with company policies, internal directives, and applicable international, federal, state, and local privacy laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Additionally, the Manager will serve as a subject matter expert on privacy-related matters, including conducting privacy impact and other privacy-related assessments. This is a dynamic and high-profile role that demands strong attention to detail, excellent multitasking abilities, and a proactive mindset.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years’ experience in privacy or an Advanced Degree in a related field (i.e., Juris Doctorate or master’s degree in legal studies preferred) and minimum 5 years' experience
  • Experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments as well as other privacy-related risk assessments, including Data Protection Impact and Transfer Impact Assessments
  • Experience with data incident response and DSAR response
  • Experience with domestic and international data privacy law and regulations, including CCPA and GDPR

Responsibilities

  • Triage and conduct privacy impact assessments and other privacy-related risk assessments and develop and implement corrective action plans
  • Collaborate cross functionally with key stakeholders to ensure timely processing of all privacy related risk assessments.
  • Brief regional Data Protection Officers on higher risk privacy matters that could impact data subjects in their regions
  • Conduct legal research on specific privacy-related topics, as needed
  • Assist with data incident response investigations and reporting under legal privilege, and Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR), ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Oversee and maintain the Privacy and Cyber SharePoint site, risk metrics, and control tower to ensure proper documentation and tracking
  • Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and internal reviews
  • Travel up to 10% of the time
