About The Position

Manager, Community & Volunteer Engagement- the MCVE recruits, trains and manages volunteers, ultimately supporting patients and families facing end of life. The MCVE is active in partnering with other organizations, embracing local events, and is a creative relationship builder.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of administrative experience including program coordination and supervisory experience.
• Hospice and/or volunteer experience is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Education, Management, or a related field.
• Must have a driver's license in good standing and access to a vehicle during working hours.

Responsibilities

• Supports the provision of volunteer services to patients and families in compliance with Capital Caring Health’s policies and procedures, and state and federal regulations.
• Works under the direction of the Director, Community & Volunteer Engagement (DCVE).
