About The Position

The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are the Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels and a proud member of Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH). The Quakes are committed to delivering outstanding fan experiences and serving as a trusted, year-round partner in the Inland Empire community. The Community Relations Manager leads the Club’s community engagement and outreach efforts while supporting group engagement and fan experience initiatives. This role is responsible for developing meaningful partnerships, managing community programs, and helping position the Quakes as a consistent and visible presence in the region. This position reports to the General Manager.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in guest services or customer-facing roles required.
  • Strong conflict resolution, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, organize, and motivate teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general technical aptitude.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional demeanor with a passion for creating positive experiences for fans and the community.

  • Background in community relations, public service, or the sports industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage community relations programs that strengthen the Club’s connection to local schools, nonprofits, and civic organizations.
  • Coordinate outreach initiatives, including: School and literacy programs Mascot and staff appearances Youth, senior, and family programs Military and first responder recognition Community and charity events Volunteer initiatives
  • Oversee player appearances and autograph opportunities to enhance community visibility.
  • Recruit, hire, and train guest services staff to maintain a safe, welcoming, and professional environment.
  • Collaborate with Partnerships and Marketing teams on community-focused activations.
  • Partner with the Ticketing department to support group sales and fundraising programs.
  • Assist in coordinating group outings and community ticket programs.
  • Support guest services operations and fan experience standards.
  • Manage departmental budgets and track expenses.
  • Fulfill ticket and memorabilia donation requests for local organizations.
  • Maintain records and prepare basic community impact reports.
