About The Position

The Manager of Commercial Strategy and Activation will work alongside their Director to ensure outstanding Orion Select program activations. A successful candidate will have a solid background in client and partner negotiations, programmatic activations, and CTV planning.

Requirements

  • Proven track-record of successfully seeking out and curating new business relationships and/or solutions; developing solutions using new or existing processes.
  • Capable of assessing and rank issues and tasks in order of importance for taking action.
  • Support IPG relationships for clients across all lines of business.
  • Knowledge of technology or measurement ad tech solutions, including platforms.
  • Experience in Data Analysis.
  • Capable of collaborating with multiple teams and maintaining a positive environment.
  • Experience in Project and Account Management.
  • Experienced communicator – concise and clear communication in all forms; emails, presentations, reports, etc.
  • Ability to anticipate, recognize and clearly define problems using various techniques to systematically analyze, weigh alternatives and propose solutions.
  • Experience managing existing business relationships, partnerships, and alliances internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Support Growth teams and Orion Strategic Business Development in ideating and packaging innovative programmatic solutions for existing clients and new business.
  • Support Orion Select client pitching by pulling historical performance data and analysing the opportunity to optimize within Orion select partnerships.
  • Manage case studies and library of materials.
  • Standardize and document the operational framework (client heatmap, intake form, tech matrix, and planning calculator).
  • Manage activation of Orion Select Campaigns: Optimize media plans across and deliver to Director.
  • Campaign setup (e.g., targeting, audience strategies, PMPs).
  • Campaign optimizations utilizing the Orion value calculator.
  • Post campaign reporting.
  • Manage Activation for Orion Select campaigns that are activated through a 3rd party (e.g., Kinesso and managed services).
  • Identify key needs and requirements and share with negotiation teams.
  • Participate in the ideation, evaluation and negotiation of product and commercial opportunities with tech and publisher partners to drive evolution of the Orion Select offering.
