About The Position

The Inside Sales Manager at Nextiva is responsible for leading a team of Direct Sales Account Executives to drive business growth and exceed sales targets. This role involves developing team skills, managing sales activities, and fostering a high-performance culture while ensuring a customer-centric approach. The manager will actively participate in sales processes, coach team members, and maintain accountability for performance metrics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading Direct Sales teams in a SaaS or telecommunications environment.
• Demonstrated success in achieving measurable business goals in a high-velocity sales environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work flexible hours covering coast-to-coast sales team needs.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and accountability.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth business environment.
• Familiarity with sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 8-10 quota-carrying Account Executives (AEs).
• Drive daily sales activity in accordance with Nextiva's sales methodology.
• Develop team skills and hold team members accountable for performance.
• Coach AEs in generating leads, handling objections, and closing sales.
• Maintain a customer-centric culture and ensure high-quality service.
• Proactively manage the sales pipeline and forecast bookings accurately.
• Conduct regular 1:1s and team meetings to review performance and provide coaching.
• Implement team contests and recognition to boost motivation and competition.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Operations to enhance sales effectiveness.
