About The Position

Leads the implementation of the strategic vision for district wide coaching frameworks and distributive leadership systems (ILT +TLC modes). Operationalizes and manages the District's coaching infrastructure to multiply leadership, operational, and instructional capacity across both school based teams and central office staff. Drives high level collaboration across all district departments and divisions to integrate coaching strategy and standards and facilitates foundational coaching development and ILT support to transform the district's distributive leadership infrastructure. Establishes rigorous evaluation systems to measure the impact of coaching systems on district goals. Acts as a subject matter expert on adult learning, leadership coaching theory, and culturally responsive sustaining practices transforming how the district supports and develops its entire workforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of directly related experience is required, including demonstrated expertise in adult learning theory, coaching frameworks, professional development delivery systems, and systemic implementation at a large scale.
  • 3+ Years of Management Experience
  • Demonstrated experience with leading high impact professional learning focused on culturally responsive sustaining pedagogy and adult learning theory
  • Deep understanding of adult learning theory, coaching skills, inclusive facilitation standards, and culturally and linguistically responsive education (CRSE) practices Required Demonstrated effectiveness as a teacher; superior leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the proven ability to effectively motivate, influence, and lead a high performing team.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, including the ability to build capacity and work collaboratively with individuals at all different levels in the organization (school based and central office)
  • Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic insight and leads the day-to-day operations of the district's unified coaching framework. Shapes the organization's coaching and distributive leadership infrastructure, ensuring the theoretical framework and operational best practices for how schools utilize their Instructional Leadership Teams (ILTs) to maximize impact are permanently embedded
  • Partners closely with the Leader Development team to ensure the district's overarching coaching and leadership frameworks seamlessly integrate with the operational realities and training pathways of schools
  • Directs a high performing team to facilitate foundational coaching development for central office staff and school leaders
  • Systematically builds the capacity of district leaders, training them on how to effectively observe, evaluate, and coach the adults within their networks and buildings through a culturally responsive sustaining lens
  • Develops and implements robust data tracking and evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of instructional and leadership coaching and distributive leadership practices district wide. Analyzes this data to drive continuous improvement and report on ROI to executive leadership
  • Directs the continuous improvement and scaling of essential coaching systems by designing, publishing, and defining the core competencies, rubrics, and expectations for effective leadership and systems coaching
  • Other duties as assigned
