We are searching for a Manager - Cloud Architecture and Engineering to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

  • Establish a strategy for cloud services delivery: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for delivering cloud services that achieve the highest levels of resilience, security, performance, and value realization.
  • Lead the adoption of cloud-native solutions: Drive the integration and utilization of cloud-native solutions within the RCP technology landscape.
  • Architect and design technical solutions: Create and design technical solutions using repeatable, automated techniques and processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Establish a robust governance framework: Implement and maintain a strong technical and financial governance framework over the RCP cloud landscape to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
  • Assist in evaluation and implementation: Support the evaluation, design, testing, and implementation of cloud technology solutions to deliver business line applications and capabilities.
  • 7+ years of work experience of leading hosting operations, manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Ability to assess and communicate hosting and cloud operations concepts, cost models and practices, with both business and IT stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in working in hybrid delivery models, where services are delivered by internal teams, partnering with managed services providers.
  • Prior experience with AWS supporting hybrid environment including PaaS and IaaS.
  • Thorough understanding of Cloud Infrastructure Solutions, Cloud Security and Identity Management, Automation and Infrastructure as a code, High availability solutions, Disaster recovery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to lead the team through critical incident resolution and service restoration.
  • Knowledge of and experience in building and running hosting operations teams, including managed services partners.
  • Strong people skills, collaborative ability to work with IT stakeholders inside and outside of the organization.
  • Thorough understanding of both ITIL practices.
  • Experience working with Waterfall and Agile project management frameworks.
  • Experience with AWS cloud platform.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of CI/CD.
  • Experience with securing cloud-based workloads.
  • Prior experience of participating in design, implementation, and migration to a cloud environment.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative.
  • Perform well under pressure and stressful situations.
  • Ability to travel 5%.
