About The Position
The position is responsible for the maintenance of efficient and effective departmental operations, ensuring smooth coordination of department services with other nursing units and departments. The role involves monitoring productivity, case mix, and benchmark data to ensure appropriate staffing requirements. Additionally, the position requires monitoring and assessing associate developmental needs, coordinating the selection process, and developing recruitment and retention strategies. The incumbent will conduct unit meetings to improve communication of financial and operational information as well as strategic planning.
