About The Position

Projected to open in October 2025, Hopewood Recovery Center will offer treatment for Substance Use Disorder to women needing treatment at the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) 3.5 Residential Treatment Level of Care. Located near South Boston, Virginia, on our tranquil 200-acre campus, Hopewood Recovery Center will provide trauma focused treatment in a serene setting, well suited for recovery. We are now searching for team members committed to helping others improve their lives. The Manager of Clinical Services will plan, implement and coordinate the clinical services offered by the facility.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Psychiatric Nursing required.
  • Five or more years' experience in behavioral health services with clinical experience with all target populations (SMI, SED, DD, SUD) required.
  • Three or more years' supervision experience required.
  • Management or administration experience and/or three years work experience in Utilization Management required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and support to all clinical operations in areas assigned.
  • Provide oversight and monitor clinical services as it relates to service provision, treatment and access.
  • Review and analyze clinical and operational performance results. Develop plans for improvement as needed.
  • Provide staff management including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
  • Develop and implement behavioral health processes, procedures and policies across programs.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning and reporting processes as appropriate.
  • Represent the company at meetings in the community.
  • Collaborate with other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative work environment.
  • Support compliance by adherence to accreditation standards as well as standards of funding agencies and licensing boards.
  • Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
