The Manager of Clinical Research oversees our CRC start-up team — ensuring budgets, coverage analysis, and regulatory processes are executed with precision — while also serving as the business analyst for our Clinical Trials Management System. The Manager of Clinical Research is responsible for the CRC start-up team (coverage analysis, regulatory, budgets) and provide oversight of research studies using CRC resources. Assist in developing and implementing policies. Serve as the business analyst for the Clinical Trials Management System. Responsible for hiring and performance management of direct reports.

Requirements

  • Three years' experience with budget model methodology in a healthcare setting required.
  • Working knowledge of research and medical terminology, grants, and governmental rules and regulations required.
  • Two years leadership experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in scientific, healthcare or business-related field required.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage priorities and utilize time effectively required.
  • Competence in communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate both written and verbal required.
  • Ability to market services to customer groups within and outside of UNMC required.

  • Master's degree in scientific, healthcare, or business-related field preferred.
