About The Position

Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care. The Quality Management staff provides infection control oversight throughout the hospital in order to ensure a safe care environment. These dedicated professionals identify, investigate and record data concerning nosocomial or hospital-acquired infections. They perform quality improvement studies to identify and implement action plans to improve the prevention of nosocomial infections, as well as plan and measure unit rotation to meet The Joint Commission, State and Federal regulations as directed by the Infection Control Committee. As the Clinical Quality Projects Manager, you will oversee the strategy, tools, and techniques designed to support HPH ambulatory clinical quality programs and improvement initiatives. In this role, you will support organizational efforts to integrate the ambulatory PSQ with IT functionality and collaborate with Directors of Patient Safety and Quality Services and HPH stakeholders in improvement efforts. You will provide operational and strategic leadership, technical architecture recommendations, infrastructure organizational designs, and process recommendations to respective departments. As the Manager, you will facilitate data preparation for presentations and conduct training as both faculty and team manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
• Current Hawaii RN license.
• Five (5) years of progressive quality and service improvement experience and/or experience applying analytical tools/data analysis.
• Previous project management and health care experience.

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Experience in the development and application of QI tools and graphic display.
