The Manager of Clinical Quality Analytics (STARS, SQL) at L.A. Care Health Plan is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the operations, projects, and planning related to reporting and analytics focused on Medicare Stars, Quality Rating System (QRS), and other quality improvement programs. This position is essential in enhancing member experience and quality of life, ultimately leading to improved star ratings. The Manager will analyze, monitor, and report on clinical and operational quality improvement activities, providing technical collaboration and data-driven decision-making support. The role involves recommending policies and leading process improvement efforts, working closely with the Stars Core Team, department leadership, and the provider network to develop comprehensive quality improvement and data strategy activities. The Manager will also assist in formulating a long-term plan for analytics and evaluation activities that align with the Stars strategy and goals, including the development of enterprise-wide data and analytics solutions. This position requires effective management of the team, including hiring, supervising, coaching, training, and motivating both direct and indirect staff reports. The Manager will leverage data to inform targeted strategies for member and provider engagement, implement a data-driven Stars strategy, and establish streamlined processes for performance scorecards at various levels. Additionally, the role includes developing meaningful dashboards, reports, and presentations to influence Stars strategy and related activities, acting as a subject matter expert in analytics and technical aspects of strategic initiatives.
