About The Position

Come join the team on the front lines of consumer financial health. The Financial Health Network is seeking a Manager, Client Success to join our Client Success & Business Development team to actively drive impact across a portfolio of financial services organizations. The Manager will join an energetic and passionate team as we equip and influence financial institutions, employers, fintechs, insurers, nonprofits, and other financial service industry players to create solutions that improve people’s financial health and close equity gaps. Reporting to the Director, Client Success, the Manager will be primarily responsible for building and maintaining relationships, monitoring and delivering against Member experience metrics, and executing Member-benefit-related projects and engagement activities.

Requirements

  • A commitment to the mission of Financial Health Network and a desire to positively impact the trajectory of a highly-impactful, national nonprofit.
  • 5+ years of experience in account, partnership and/or client relationship management or client success within financial services or adjacent industries.
  • Demonstrates commitment to embedding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion across all internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Highly polished presentation skills; ability to communicate with influence and motivate multiple audiences; ability to quickly synthesize data and present succinct, cogent arguments.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a diversity of stakeholder types; demonstrated expertise with a client-centered approach to stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong collaborator and leader with excellent organization and people skills, and the ability to set priorities, problem-solve, and multi-task while paying attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to collaborate across teams to plan and execute complex projects from start to finish.
  • High degree of flexibility to work in an innovative, fast-paced environment and readily embrace change.
  • Ability to commit to up to 10% domestic travel, with occasional evening meetings (approx. quarterly).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working directly with (or selling into) financial services companies, insurance carriers/brokers, or financial services associations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a portfolio of relationships to drive action on financial health.
  • Responsible for day-to-day aspects of relationship building with assigned Members which includes ownership of scheduling and leading Member meetings.
  • Surfaces and participates in the development of consulting, grant and/or sponsorship business opportunities.
  • Quickly builds trust and credibility with a range of senior external stakeholders within Member companies.
  • Anticipates Member needs and identifies opportunities; proactively solves through highly effective cross-organizational collaboration.
  • Creates, manages, and monitors annual engagement plans for assigned Members.
  • Effectively uses Salesforce and other tools to track, monitor, and report on engagement and Member relationship health.
  • Documents case studies and impact stories to be leveraged for further Member engagement and marketing materials.
  • Collaborates with the Director of Membership Operations to support annual membership renewal through timely and effective communications with assigned Members.
  • Project manages select Member-facing programs and initiatives.
  • Other client success tasks as assigned.
  • Collaborates with the Leadership Team and Executive Sponsors to manage relationships with a select number of Strategic Accounts, which are typically Fortune 500 companies.
  • Engages directly with senior executives within these companies, serving as an articulate and enthusiastic spokesperson for FHN and its mission, and helping to drive value for the company and for FHN.
  • Develops and monitors progress against annual Strategic Account engagement and business development goals.
  • Participates in regular organization-wide Strategic Account reviews, preparing written reports on progress against annual goals and surfacing challenges and opportunities for cross-organizational collaboration.
  • Collaborates closely with staff across FHN to design and deliver high-quality Member programs and experiences, including for example: designing and facilitating group meetings and discussions; developing Member-exclusive written content; and planning and hosting Member sessions at FHN events like our EMERGE conference.
  • Leads projects from strategy development through execution using project management tools and strong communication skills.
