About The Position

The Manager, Client Operations is a key contributor and supporter of Operations and EnableComp clients. This role will oversee and direct the general success of high-profile named account(s). This role ensures the overall client success regarding response to client inquiries, document management, payment research, file delays, system access, and other relevant items. This role seeks to align solutions with EC/client objectives and build strong relationships.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 2 plus years’ experience in healthcare field working in billing or collections.
  • 2-4 years’ client facing/customer services experience.
  • Extensive level of understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing and subsequent data requirements.
  • Experience working with internal teams while serving in a client facing or client support role.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.

  • Must have strong computer proficiency and understand how to use basic office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal coordination, communication, and messaging for external client requests and reported issues.
  • Manage submission and receipt of documentation requests to assigned external client group ensuring EnableComp receives necessary medical claim documentation needed to process claim inventory with insurance companies in conjunction with assigned Client Operations/Ops staff.
  • Analyze and evaluate high dollar and escalated claims.
  • Understand the billing process (at a high level) for all EnableComp lines of business to ensure inventory is moving as expected.
  • Document client specific process changes and ensure all appropriate parties are notified of the process updates.
  • Ensure client processes are documented appropriately prior to or concurrently with training of internal team.
  • Understand specific client(s) business objectives and guide them through processes that can help achieve those objectives.
  • Work to support the overall production process of assigned client(s).
  • Respond and communicate with client(s) regarding topics such as: remote system access, document requests, payment research requests, coordination of end-user training, and others in conjunction with assigned Account Management/Operations staff.
  • Ensure internal team updates claim data in client systems such as additional insurance information, balance adjustments, remove payer information, and use discretion to identify additional requirements, based on client expectations.
  • Manage the overall research regarding claim payments, billing issues, file and placement delays for assigned client(s).
  • Manage and maintain client relationships through the understanding of client inventory and identify unique solutions to client specific needs.
  • Identify and manage key performance indicators for individual client(s).
  • Manage team of Account Managers and Account Specialists
  • Other duties as required.
