About The Position
At USAA, we are on a mission to facilitate the financial security of millions of U.S. military members and their families. We are seeking dedicated Managers for Claims Operations to lead a team of Auto Adjusters who handle moderate to complex level Auto Non-Injury, total loss, and physical damage claims. In this role, you will be responsible for leading auto claims operations member service employees, ensuring they provide appropriate solutions as they investigate, evaluate, and negotiate claims. You will develop engaged employees through regular coaching and feedback, driving business results and implementing process improvements. Your responsibilities will include inspecting and reviewing the quality of claim files, providing feedback to employees, and ensuring they understand how their contributions support overall claims and enterprise strategies. You will proactively identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and member experiences, creating conditions for success by removing obstacles and championing change. Additionally, you will monitor work to ensure consistent execution of processes and adherence to guidelines, handle escalations, and facilitate employee skill development for career progression. This position requires a flexible work environment, with the expectation of being in the office four days a week. It can be based in various locations including San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Chesapeake, VA, or Tampa, FL. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position.
