Claims Liaison Manager Come join a growing and successful team here at GEICO as we expand into new opportunities. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven leader to lead and develop our Claims Liaison team as a Manager. This role will include building out a team of supervisors and associates to foster productive claims relationships with Independent Agents, the associated Agent support staff, and our Claims divisions. The need is to foster positive customer interactions for a critical component of our strategic vision. These interactions will address claims in all product lines, and improve the customer experience of both our insureds, and Agents. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful customer interaction, claims knowledge of multiple product lines, and expert collaborative skills across multiple divisions. Candidates must possess strong leadership, technical expertise, and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in Independent Agent communication.
  • Claims knowledge of multiple products such as Auto, Commercial, Motorcycle, RV, and or Boat.
  • Must be able to speak in a clear, empathic and professional manner by telephone.
  • Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor, coach, and develop a team of Claims Liaisons, fostering growth and high performance.
  • Guide the team in responding to Agent inquiries with an attention to detail while delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Review the work of associates, provide feedback, and recommend corrective actions to enhance service quality.
  • Resolve procedural questions while providing technical guidance to the team.
  • Participate in the formal training and onboarding of new associates and supervisors.
  • Interact successfully with partners across Product, Sales, Underwriting, Service, and other divisions to ensure consistent communication and support for IAs and their teams.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on work volume, quality metrics and team performance, using data to drive improvements.
  • Assist in the development of plans and budgets to support departmental and organizational goals.
  • Leverage technical and industry knowledge to handle complex claims and support the team in resolving challenges.
