About The Position
The Manager of Charge Master at Aspirus Health in Wausau, WI, plays a critical role in overseeing the charge description master (CDM) and ensuring compliance with regulatory and payer requirements. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate capture of patient service revenue, which is essential for the financial health of the organization. The manager will lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the CDM, ensuring that it meets the standards set by regulatory agencies and aligns with the latest reimbursement charges and regulations. In this role, the manager will monitor and communicate any changes in reimbursement charges and regulations, ensuring that all necessary adjustments are made through effective project oversight. The position also involves providing guidance and support to staff and collaborating with department leaders on charging and reimbursement inquiries. Additionally, the manager will oversee random audits to ensure the accuracy of patient charges and will work closely with insurance auditors to evaluate findings and implement required adjustments. The manager will also be responsible for managing patient charge fees and schedules, conducting fee analysis, and ensuring price transparency for Aspirus. This position requires a strong understanding of healthcare financial management, regulatory compliance, and the revenue cycle, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a cross-functional team.
