About The Position

The CAP Manager leads the day‑to‑day operations of the Centralized Application Processing team, ensuring consistent execution of the screening policies and standards established by the Director of Resident Qualifications. This role focuses on team performance, decision accuracy, operational consistency, and compliance across daily application reviews. This role does not create policy or set departmental strategy; instead, it ensures the consistent and compliant application of policies developed by the Director. This role requires strong analytical judgment, attention to detail at a program level, and a collaborative leadership approach. It demands clear and effective communication, a proactive mindset, and a strong commitment to compliance, consistency, and service standards across the resident qualification function. The core mission of this role is to oversee and uphold resident qualification standards that protect the portfolio while ensuring a fair, consistent, and efficient application experience for every applicant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in property management, resident screening, or a related operational role.
  • A minimum of 1 year of people management experience.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Strong skills in leadership, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency with screening platforms, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
