Requirements

• 4+ years Management experience in hospital setting with knowledge of instrumentation and sterile process - Required
• Basic computer word processing skills - Required
• CSS Certification Course or Licensed RN or LPN - Required

Nice To Haves

• 5 years CSS Management and Operating Room Supply Experience - Preferred
• Bachelors with CS and pursuing Masters - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical competence to practice within Central Sterile's Scope of Care.
• Manages day to day operations of assigned unit ensuring decisions, actions and group performance contributes to achievement of the unit, department, and hospital's goals and mission.
• Communicates effectively with staff, peers, Surgical Director, external and internal customer.
• Utilizes quality improvement as basis to improve unit/departmental process.
• Pursues own professional growth and development.
• Maintains unit readiness for regulatory surveys.
• Assumes accountability for decisions and actions.
• Provides opportunities for employee development.
• Adheres to hospital policies and procedures, supports the mission of the hospital.
