About The Position

Responsible for managing all delivery, cleaning, shipping/receiving, dispatching and warehouse functions for five locations.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that coordination and communication between departments meets all requirements so that all work orders are delivered accurately and on-time.
• Performs daily review of all delivery orders, pick-ups, and exchanges from the prior business day for accuracy, thoroughness and inclusion of all supplemental paperwork.
• Manages the work of the dispatchers, delivery technicians and warehouse assistants sterile processing technicians
• Enforces company policies and documents disciplinary actions.
• Responsible for new hire training and competency and conducts annual required in-services and competencies for all employees.
• Implements a "check & balance" procedure to prevent deficiency in service to patients.
• Ensures compliance with Regulatory Agencies (DOT, FDA (regarding lot number tracking), weight & measures, as well as all local ordinances of fire department and local building codes).
• Monitors and reports on critical budget items such as overtime, staffing, repairs, fuel expense, etc. In addition, monitor such key indicators (absenteeism, tardiness, and work flow), etc.
• Ensures timely reporting for FFU-Equipment audits, GPS tracking, monthly production stats, etc.
• Monitors all daily activities for process improvement initiatives.
• Assures all warehouses are neat and orderly.
• Works with Materials Manager Purchasing and Biomedical Department to assure equipment storage in warehouse and or delivery vehicles meet Joint Commission standards (i.e. clean/dirty area's, full/empty tanks) etc.
• Manages distribution of packages from warehouses via third party carrier (UPS/Fedex)
• Assists in special projects when called upon.
• Other duties as assigned by Senior Leadership.
• Coordinates the hiring process of delivery and some warehouse personnel.
• Daily, weekly, monthly management of delivery functions

• Manager On-Call Rotation
