The Manager of the Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Program is responsible for overseeing the CDI team and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation. This role involves collaborating with healthcare providers to improve documentation practices and enhance patient care. The manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing CDI initiatives, conducting audits, and providing education to staff on documentation standards. This position is a hybrid role, allowing for both remote work and in-office opportunities.

  • Oversee the Clinical Documentation Integrity team and manage daily operations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve clinical documentation practices.
  • Develop and implement CDI initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Conduct audits of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide education and training to staff on documentation standards and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current RN license in the state of Georgia.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical documentation or nursing.
  • Strong knowledge of coding and documentation guidelines.
  • Certification in Clinical Documentation Improvement (CCDS or CDIP).
  • Experience in a managerial role within a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
