About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced nursing or social work professional to serve as the Manager of Case Management at a large, high-acuity academic medical center with a freestanding children’s hospital. This leadership role provides operational oversight, clinical guidance, and staff management for the case management team. The Manager ensures patient-centered care, regulatory compliance, efficient throughput, and effective resource utilization while supporting interdisciplinary collaboration and driving quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing OR Master’s Degree in Social Work with LCSW license
  • 3+ years of acute care clinical nursing or hospital social work experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in an acute care setting
  • Active RN license OR LCSW/LMSW license in the state of practice

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with InterQual
  • Certification in Case Management
  • Certification in InterQual or IQCI

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Case Management program for assigned areas
  • Supervise, coach, and evaluate case management staff (clinical and support roles)
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices
  • Monitor quality, documentation accuracy, and appropriateness of case management activities
  • Promote effective care coordination, discharge planning, and patient throughput
  • Serve as a clinical expert, advisor, and escalation resource for the case management team
  • Support performance improvement initiatives focused on quality outcomes and utilization management
