About The Position

The Manager-Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for daily leadership and oversight of the procedural and pre/post care units of the cardiac cath lab and/or electrophysiology (EP) lab. Supervises, coordinates, and evaluates operational activities to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. Works closely with the Director and leadership across the cardiovascular service line to accomplish goals and objectives related to quality, growth, fiscal responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, radiologic technology, allied health, applied sciences or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab.
  • 3 years of supervisory/team lead or demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Radiographer in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in nursing, radiologic technology, healthcare administration or related field.
  • Advanced certification in area of expertise: Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).

Responsibilities

  • Daily leadership and oversight of the cardiac cath lab and/or electrophysiology lab.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate operational activities.
  • Ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
  • Work closely with the Director and leadership across the cardiovascular service line.
