About The Position

Under the direction of the director of the service, the manager is responsible for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the hospital, nursing department and cardiac catheterization laboratory and their effect on patient care in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The manager has the authority to make decisions on that unit in the areas of patient care, human resources, and financial management. Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day flow of the Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab.

Requirements

  • Must be a (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RN) Registered Nurse
  • Associates Degree required. Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Critical Care or Cath Lab required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
