About The Position

As an Automotive Repair Manager at AAA Club Alliance, you will oversee operations, mentor technicians, and ensure exceptional customer service in a state-of-the-art facility. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and automotive expertise to drive performance and results while fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.
  • Six years' experience in the automotive industry, including three years in a management role.
  • National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification as a Master Automotive Technician preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid operator's license with five years driving experience and an excellent record.
  • Advanced knowledge and ability to work with PC-based software (Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel) and automotive computer equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain overall responsibility for service delivery, staff administration, facility appearance, purchasing, record keeping, inventory control, and other operational areas of the Car Care facility.
  • Effectively hire staff and schedule associates to meet changing business needs.
  • Review necessary repairs with customers and associates and address questions or concerns, ensuring high quality customer service is provided daily.
  • Develop external business relationships to generate business for the Car Care facility and enhance the AAA image in the community.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on the operations of the Car Care facility for management review.
  • Act as the Health & Safety Officer for the location, managing safety and shop compliance issues to ensure conformity with OSHA and local laws.
  • Prepare income and expense budgets and ensure strict adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensure that the facility meets annual revenue and net income budgets and achieves budgeted sales.
