The Manager of Business Systems at Palo Alto Networks is responsible for overseeing the Sales Operations Systems team, focusing on the management and enhancement of quoting tools, particularly Salesforce CPQ. This role involves handling escalations, delegating projects, and collaborating with various internal teams to optimize the sales and quoting processes. The manager will also be responsible for the architecture and implementation of product configuration and pricing strategies, ensuring efficient performance from quote creation to order fulfillment.

  • Manage Sales Operations Systems team members focused on quoting tools.
  • Handle escalations for Support Tickets and ensure proper incident response.
  • Delegate projects and enhancements to the Business Systems Analysts.
  • Work closely with Sales and Renewals teams to identify and implement sales processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to scope requirements and develop solutions.
  • Build and demonstrate Sales and CPQ prototypes in Salesforce.
  • Act as a single point of contact for Salesforce CPQ related processes.
  • Own all technical aspects of software development related to CPQ.
  • Implement Product Configuration and Dynamic Pricing using CPQ.
  • Assist with regression, UAT, and system integration testing for CPQ processes.
  • Experience managing a team in a sales operations or business systems environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce and CPQ processes.
  • Ability to handle escalations and manage support tickets effectively.
  • Experience in project management and delegation of tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Steelbrick CPQ.
  • Familiarity with advanced pricing strategies and product configuration.
  • Knowledge of sales and quoting processes in a technology environment.
  • Work from home option available.
