Job Summary Oversees all accounting, reporting, and analytical activities for the Business Services functional team. Ensures accurate and timely preparation of journal entries, financial reporting, and operational analysis in accordance with corporate policies and GAAP. Provides leadership to the Business Services accounting team and collaborates with cross functional partners to support business operations and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting team responsible for Business Services financial reporting.
• Serve as a liaison with the Field/HQ business partners to provide guidance on accounting entries and reporting.
• Oversee preparation and review of financial statement analysis supporting of balance-sheet accruals and operating cash flow activity.
• Ensure evidence of review standards and deadlines are met.
• Review of monthly Business Services department financial results prepared by other team members.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reporting and analysis for senior leadership.
• Manage day-to-day activities, set goals and provide performance expectations for the GAO accounting team.
• Identify, develop, and implement process improvements—including centralization and automation opportunities.
• Participate in acquisition‑related activities impacting Business Services accounting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate policies.
• Oversee internal and external audit processes for assigned areas.
• Maintain and update procedures in response to operational or policy changes.
• Review monthly balance-sheet reconciliations and direct necessary adjustments.
