About The Position

CNN's Digital Products & Services group is seeking a results-driven Business Operations Manager to help align our ambitious goals with effective day-to-day operations. The Business Operations Manager will manage key operating cadences for the DP&S organization and help launch new initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Strategy, the ideal candidate will excel at problem-solving, possess strong organizational and communication skills and be capable of driving project success.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree a plus.
5+ years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, or related fields; or 4+ years with an advanced degree.
Demonstrated experience developing business strategies and supporting cross-functional initiatives, preferably in media or digital industries.
Experience working with stakeholders in fast-paced, results-driven environments.
Understanding of digital products, subscriptions, and advertising business models.

Nice To Haves

Background in media, tech, or consumer products industries preferred.

Responsibilities

Operating Rhythms: Manage key operating rhythms for the DP&S team, including MBR/QBRs and leadership meetings, enabling the team to work more efficiently.
Support Annual Planning and OKR setting: : Assist in the annual planning process and in setting Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business priorities.
Project Management: Launch and successfully complete special projects within assigned timelines, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
