Role Summary: Business Operations at OMD is the application of the discipline knowledge to assist teams in meeting project goals, identifying areas of improved efficiency, and enforcement of best practices. This role requires collaboration within a dedicated client team, working under a Business Operations lead and the sharing of expertise and skills with the broader Business Operations community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
  • 4 to 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency or consulting environment
  • Experience working with co-located and virtual teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Strong familiarity with 0365 applications and collaboration platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skill

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or CSM certification a plus
  • Media or Operations experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Integration Management: Define and coordinate the activities across the account's projects.
  • Resource Management: Support in ensuring resources are allocated against priorities, and that resource constraints are accounted for in schedules.
  • Risk Management: Risk identification, response planning and barrier removal for successful delivery on project timing.
  • Scope management: Ensure that the project includes all required work, and only the work required, to complete the project successfully.
  • Schedule Management: Knowledge of processes to manage the timely completion of projects.
  • Communications Management: Ensure appropriate planning, collection, creation, distribution, storage, retrieval, management and monitoring of project information.
  • Stakeholder Management: Identify all persons impacted by the project, managing stakeholder expectations and developing appropriate strategies for effectively engaging stakeholders in project decisions and execution.
  • Quality Management: Set forth agency objectives that meet the client/agency standards established at the initiation of the project.
  • Support client business transformation efforts by assisting in identifying and implementing improvements through auditing, workflow definition, platform integration and process engineering
  • Confirm operational best practices, embedding media expertise into workflow definitions and project timelines (e.g., client and deliverable expectations, turnaround times, client escalations, client-facing deliverable consistency)
  • Deliver integration and connectivity between cross-functional teams (e.g., Planning, Integrated Investment, Marketing Science, Finance, Project Management) inclusive of offshore as an extension of the business team, acting as a liaison between onshore and offshore resources
  • Consult on governance and best practices, ensure training compliance
  • Consult of collaboration and efficiency tool usage (Teams, project tracking, etc.)
  • Deploy Omnicom toolsets and utilities to streamline operational workflow and client delivery (e.g., Omni, PlanIt, SignIt, Microsoft Teams, Taxonomy Builder, Reporting Suites etc.), partner with discipline leads and L&D to confirm team edification across core utilities
