POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager Business & Market Analytics leads the development and execution of comprehensive analytics and reporting capabilities across business, market, customer, and pricing domains to drive data-informed decision making. The incumbent partners with Revenue Management, Sales, and Marketing leadership to deliver actionable insights that enhance business performance, identify market opportunities, and optimize pricing strategies. The Manager Business & Market Analytics will build and lead a high-performing analytics function that transforms complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations, enabling the organization to gain competitive advantage through data-driven decision making. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads the design and execution of sophisticated analytics models that uncover market trends, customer behaviors, competitive positioning opportunities, and pricing optimization strategies. Translates complex market data into actionable business insights and recommendations for senior leadership. Identifies market trends, competitive positioning opportunities, and potential business risk through analytical insights. Partners with senior leadership to translate business challenges into analytics use cases, and convert analytical findings into actionable business recommendations. Proactively identifies emerging market trends and competitive threats through rigorous data analysis and market intelligence. Builds scalable analytics frameworks and dashboards that provide timely insights on key performance indicators for revenue management, sales, and marketing teams. Develops creative and innovative methods and tools for reviewing, analyzing, forecasting, and presenting data and analysis. Collaborates with data science teams to identify advanced analytics opportunities, such as predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI-driven insights, that support business and market strategies. Communicates analytical results to stakeholders in a consultative manner, and always at a level that is consistent with the target audience. Partners with enterprise data teams and data stewards to establish data governance standards and best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and reliability of analytics outputs. Leads cross-functional analytics projects, coordinating resources and ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines. Develops and mentors analytics team members, fostering professional growth and technical excellence. Coaches and develops a team of professionals to assist in their development and attainment of necessary skills to lift performance. Monitors staff performance and drives performance improvement initiatives and ensures that service levels meet or exceed agreed upon standards. Performs other job-related duties as assigned
