The Role Kikoff is hiring a contract Business Development Manager to drive partnerships creation within the Legal Industry. This role owns the full partnership lifecycle - from sourcing and deal execution to launch and long-term growth - and sits at the intersection of strategy, product, and revenue. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to bring our products to market through high-impact partnerships.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of work experience in BD, or sales.
  • Background in client-facing or project management roles is strongly preferred
  • Experience owning a funnel end-to-end: from prospecting to closing to account expansion.
  • Familiarity with SMB, and Legal sales cycles
  • Familiarity with Salesforce/Hubspot, ZoomInfo, CBinsights/Pitchbook, Tableau, Amplitude, Snowflake, and AI tools
  • Are proficient in data analysis, financial modeling, and accounting principles to build business cases for partners
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and selling skills with the ability to manage complex partnerships

Responsibilities

  • Own the full business development and partnership lifecycle: prospecting, evaluation, negotiation, closing, launch, and long-term account growth
  • Lead strategic and financial analysis, due diligence, and deal structuring across benefit-first, monetization-driven, and hybrid partnership models
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders at law firms and enterprise partners
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships, coordinating internally across product, engineering, design, finance, accounting, legal, and growth teams
  • Act as the voice of the customer, translating partner needs and market insights into product and go-to-market priorities
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and identify new technologies, product extensions, and partnership opportunities that accelerate growth
