About The Position

The Manager - Business Development Sales at Coca-Cola Bottling UNITED is responsible for maximizing profitability and case sales in assigned areas. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with customers, opening new accounts, and executing effective sales strategies to enhance business growth. The position requires strong sales skills, account management, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Associate degree (A.A) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 1 year related experience and/or training.
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of growth and productivity.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP and Margin Minder systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with customers and associates.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to changing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize profitability and case sales in assigned areas.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Open new accounts and generate orders.
  • Ensure in-stock condition on all company products.
  • Manage product orders daily for customer base.
  • Present business reviews to customers and communicate account plans.
  • Develop and negotiate marketing agreements with on-premise customers.
  • Lead sales initiatives and execute merchandising standards in stores.
  • Provide feedback on competitive threats and business opportunities.
  • Assist in the negotiation and renewal of contracts as needed.
