About The Position

In this role, you will support and strengthen enterprise-wide compliance initiatives within a dynamic healthcare environment focused on value-based care and alternative payment models. You will work closely with senior compliance and legal stakeholders to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, business-aligned guidance. The position plays a key role in assessing risk, enabling compliant growth initiatives, and embedding a strong culture of ethics and accountability across the organization. You will collaborate cross-functionally to support new programs, contracts, and operational models while ensuring regulatory and contractual obligations are met. This role offers broad exposure to evolving healthcare regulations and strategic initiatives. It is well suited for a compliance professional who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys balancing regulatory rigor with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance, including program management, monitoring, auditing, or related functions.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and fraud, waste, and abuse laws such as the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and False Claims Act.
  • Ability to synthesize complex regulatory requirements and make sound, risk-based decisions in areas without explicit guidance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred qualifications include experience with ACO or value-based care regulations, compliance certifications, familiarity with compliance management tools, and experience in high-growth or startup environments.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary compliance point of contact for new business initiatives, particularly those involving alternative payment and value-based care models.
  • Monitor changes in healthcare laws, regulations, and internal policies, translating requirements into clear, actionable guidance for business teams.
  • Support contract-related compliance by identifying obligations, risks, and required controls when engaging new vendors and partners.
  • Coordinate across departments to implement and track mechanisms ensuring contractual and regulatory commitments are met.
  • Assist in compliance monitoring activities and support oversight committees covering areas such as coding, billing, quality, and payment model compliance.
  • Partner with compliance leadership to assess program maturity, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements.
  • Support the implementation of corrective and preventive action programs and integrity initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development, delivery, and tracking of compliance training and education for internal teams and affiliated organizations.
