About The Position

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including experience presenting in larger forums.
  • Experience advising and working with senior executives.
  • Intermediate business literacy, including understanding quarterly earnings reports and annual reports.
  • Ability to navigate complex issues with a strategic and fresh perspective.
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple high-priority work streams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop integrated communications strategies and materials for milestone announcements affecting McDonald's business and brand.
  • Lead a cross-functional communications team to create key assets such as Q&As, talking points, and key messages.
  • Support script development and communications planning for key financial and governance engagements, including quarterly earnings calls and the Annual Shareholders' Meeting.
  • Partner with communicators and cross-functional partners to execute communication plans that drive alignment among franchisees, employees, and suppliers.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, cultivating trusted partnerships and training leadership to communicate the enterprise business strategy.
