About The Position

The position supports the General Manager by leading essential activities that enhance the service experience and streamline administrative processes at Bloomingdale's Stores. The role focuses on ensuring customer experience standards are met, overseeing recruitment and onboarding of new colleagues, optimizing store schedules, and managing various administrative functions, including cash office operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Resourceful self-starter who can adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems.
  • Excellent leadership and facilitation skills.

  • Experience in retail management or operations.
  • Familiarity with cash office functions and technology adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operations to elevate service levels including customer support, curbside, BOPS, SDD pick-up, gift wrap, returns, and bill pay.
  • Respond to customer inquiries with a resolution-oriented approach to positively impact NPS metrics.
  • Ensure scheduling of CELs aligns with productive business hours.
  • Manage the hiring process including applicant correspondence, interviewing, and selecting talent.
  • Develop and implement efficiencies to improve hiring processes.
  • Drive store recruitment efforts for both active and passive candidates.
  • Oversee new hire orientation and onboarding processes to enhance engagement and reduce turnover.
  • Collaborate with Store Leaders on staffing and workforce solutions to maintain payroll budget compliance.
  • Act as the key contact for Trade Leaders and Central Business Partners regarding technology adoption.
  • Schedule and confirm work order completion by third-party contractors/vendors.
  • Manage cash office operations including balancing vault and cash functions, and performing monthly self-audits.
  • Organize weekly store recognition rallies and maintain the store bulletin board program.
