Responsibilities
- Oversee housekeeping operations within assigned areas of the medical center.
- Ensure established cleaning protocols and programs are followed to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Enhance the patient experience by ensuring all areas are kept in optimal condition.
- Monitor operations, identify process improvements, and drive patient throughput.
- Manage resources efficiently, monitor supply usage, and identify areas for cost savings.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to supervisors and staff.
- Ensure accountability within the team and address performance issues.
- Monitor patient throughput and collaborate with Patient Placement Capacity Command Center teams.
- Ensure HCAHPS scores meet established goals and enhance patient experience.
- Develop and encourage staff development programs.
- Participate in developing, planning, and implementing new programs.
- Monitor all BSD activities for assigned areas and ensure quality service delivery.
- Prepare reports and maintain statistical records.
- Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available and properly maintained.
- Maintain safety and sanitary standards in areas of responsibility.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in a related field.
- Minimum four years of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
