Responsibilities

  • Oversee housekeeping operations within assigned areas of the medical center.
  • Ensure established cleaning protocols and programs are followed to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Enhance the patient experience by ensuring all areas are kept in optimal condition.
  • Monitor operations, identify process improvements, and drive patient throughput.
  • Manage resources efficiently, monitor supply usage, and identify areas for cost savings.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to supervisors and staff.
  • Ensure accountability within the team and address performance issues.
  • Monitor patient throughput and collaborate with Patient Placement Capacity Command Center teams.
  • Ensure HCAHPS scores meet established goals and enhance patient experience.
  • Develop and encourage staff development programs.
  • Participate in developing, planning, and implementing new programs.
  • Monitor all BSD activities for assigned areas and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Prepare reports and maintain statistical records.
  • Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available and properly maintained.
  • Maintain safety and sanitary standards in areas of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum four years of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree in management or related field.
