About The Position

This position is responsible for producing the best quality bird for the plant while maintaining low cost and a highly motivated workforce. This position requires: Scheduling birds for processing according to weight in relation to what the plant needs. Communicating with the growers and giving advice on management practices and monitoring various feeding and health programs for broilers. Planning boosting schedules for birds to be vaccinated, monitoring cost reports, plant production, DOA's, etc. Comparing to the previous weeks performance and working with accounting personnel to ensure the accuracy and status of all broiler settlements. Meeting with and encouraging broiler technical advisors on a weekly basis. Working directly with equipment companies in order to ensure efficient lay out of equipment and performing other responsibilities as the need arises. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 3 plus years of broiler experience.
  • Computer Skills: Working with Microsoft, MTech, and SAP.
  • Additional Requirements: Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl. Animal Welfare background check will be required.
  • Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year.
  • Supervisory Skills: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel in a single department or work unit who perform similar and or interrelated tasks and activities.
