The Manager, Branch is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all functions of the assigned location, which may include an express center, full-service branch, or a cluster of branches. This role ensures quality Member service experiences, compliance with audit standards, and directs branch focuses to achieve credit union goals. The manager will provide coaching and development to assistant managers, supervisors, and team members to enhance the Member service experience. The position also involves utilizing lending authority to make quality loan decisions and creating plans to increase Member participation through a focus on quality service in all team member interactions. The manager will attract new Members through participation in school, community, and business functions, and will conduct, coordinate, and train staff on school visitations and off-site presentation efforts. Additionally, the manager is responsible for creating an environment that ensures a world-class Member experience at every branch interaction, providing consultative services regarding credit union products and services, and maintaining consumer loan decision authority to assist the team with escalated lending situations. The role also includes directing branch marketing efforts, researching, evaluating, and implementing department or divisional projects.
