About The Position

The position involves implementing and providing guidance to the team on best practices for conducting assessments and determining diagnoses. The role includes mentoring team members on communicating results, discussing treatment plans, and providing resources. The individual will also mentor across teams on member/patient advocacy, anticipate care issues, implement feedback, and respond to complaints. Participation in the development of care experience standards is essential to ensure high-quality care experiences. The position requires guidance on determining appropriate services for referrals and implementing standards for sharing information with providers. Additionally, the role involves managing the implementation of new programs across teams, ensuring quality therapy programs, and making adjustments to improve services. The individual will also provide guidance on regulatory policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance, consulting with Compliance as necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in treatment planning.
  • Minimum one (1) year of facilitation and development experience of clinical groups and programs.
  • Masters degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in behavioral health or other relevant healthcare field.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Georgia) required at hire OR Marriage and Family Therapist License (Georgia) required at hire OR Professional Counselor License (Georgia) required at hire OR Behavior Analyst License (Georgia) required at hire OR Licensed Psychologist (Georgia) required at hire.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.

  • Fosters the development of work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines.
  • Ensures effective client care by mentoring others on member/patient advocacy and investigating complaints.
  • Manages compliant services by providing guidance on organizational, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Manages high quality counseling services by mentoring teams on psychological/behavioral interventions.
  • Manages patient evaluations and diagnoses by implementing best practices for assessments.
  • Drives program development and management by providing guidance and feedback to ensure quality therapy programs.
