About The Position

The position involves implementing and providing guidance to the team on best practices for conducting assessments and determining diagnoses. The role includes mentoring team members on communicating results, discussing treatment plans, and providing resources. The individual will also mentor across teams on member/patient advocacy, anticipating care issues, implementing feedback, and responding to complaints. Participation in the development of care experience standards is essential to ensure high-quality care experiences. The position requires guidance on determining appropriate services for referrals and implementing standards for sharing information with providers. Additionally, the role involves managing the implementation of new programs across teams, making adjustments to improve services, and coaching the team on implementing improvements to programs. Ensuring compliance with regulatory policies, standards, and procedures is also a key responsibility, along with consulting with Compliance and guiding the team on documentation, records, and reports according to regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in treatment planning.
  • Minimum one (1) year of facilitation and development experience of clinical groups and programs.
  • Masters degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in behavioral health or other relevant healthcare field.
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) required at hire OR Board Certified Behavior Analyst required at hire OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) required at hire OR Psychologist License (California) required at hire OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) required at hire.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.

  • Manages high quality counseling services by mentoring teams on psychological/behavioral interventions.
  • Manages patient evaluations and diagnoses by implementing best practices for assessments.
  • Drives program development and management by providing guidance and feedback to ensure quality therapy programs.
