About The Position

As a Manager, Aviation Facilities & Infrastructure - Asset, you will lead and manage staff and develop and implement comprehensive plan for aviation infrastructure to support operational, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements. You will be the subject matter expert for infrastructure and system assets and be the primary point of contact with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies or districts. You will develop and lead the asset management program for Facilities & Infrastructure assets and oversee staff responsible for conducting the annual inventory and verification for financial regulatory requirements. You will develop requirements and perform asset infrastructure renewal and replacement program development and project management responsibilities for expense planning studies to support long-term vision. You will provide directions and develop comprehensive enterprise asset program preventative maintenance programs for operations and maintenance of infrastructure and system assets to maintain aviation operations and maximize life cycle of systems. You will partner with the Maintenance, Business, and Facilities departments to develop enterprise systems utilizing existing systems and data at the airport such as the computerized maintenance management system. You will develop tools, structure, and reports for the airport to implement an asset enterprise system that holistically incorporates lifecycle decision making in maintaining, replacing, and operating its assets. You will manage the development, maintenance, and governance of assets within aviation design guidelines and standards for facility and infrastructure. You will provide oversight and evaluation for integration of new methods, technologies, programs or processes. You will strategically initiate and sponsor capital programs, and coordinate with planning and capital development departments to ensure program schedule aligns with asset life cycle expectancy of systems and goals. You will prepare and present projects to senior leadership as required. You will manage staff workload to ensure that capital, tenant, and expense projects are supported. You will advocate for design standards implementation on projects and provide final direction for project-specific design standards variance requests.

Requirements

  • Experienced – You have twelve (12) years of experience in infrastructure system planning, design, modeling, construction, and/or maintenance, and two (2) years of supervisory/lead/mentor experience including leading a project or process. A bachelor’s degree in engineering/architecture may be substituted for four (4) years of experience.
  • Certifications/Licenses – You must possess one of the following: Professional Engineering (PE) license, Registered Architect, International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Certified Facility Manager certification, Institute of Asset Management (IAM) Registered Asset Management Professional certification, or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
