Job Overview The Manager, Asset Protection - Supply Chain ensures the safety and security of supply chain colleagues and company assets by managing the Asset Protection function and team. What You Will Do Support and provide backup for the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Asset Protection Oversee all aspects of Asset Protection operations to align with company profit and service goals Enforce company and security policies to protect and monitor company assets, alarms, property, employees, and visitors Hire, train, and supervise the Asset Protection team to ensure effective performance Communicate with facility management and Supply Chain Asset Protection leadership regarding shortage and security issues, recommending solutions as necessary Investigate and identify causes of shortage within the facility, including potential internal or external dishonest activity Secure and monitor trailer movements entering and exiting the facility to ensure compliance and safety Manage Asset Protection operations, including staff communication, workload balancing, work assignments, scheduling, throughput levels, and adherence to processing standards Assist in developing and managing departmental budgets to optimize resources Ensure departments meet or exceed performance expectations in areas such as safety, shortage reduction, cost control, quality, processing standards, flexibility, reliability, customer service, and execution of plans Review analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecasts to evaluate department progress toward goals and objectives Manage and develop direct reports, fostering individual growth and ensuring performance excellence Maintain consistent, clear, and timely communication with subordinates, peers, and senior management Demonstrate regular, dependable attendance and punctuality Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned
