The Manager of Asset Protection Solutions at Walgreens is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and profitability of the company's assets and locations. This role involves developing and implementing programs and procedures to minimize risks and protect company interests. The manager will lead a team of asset protection professionals, collaborate with various departments, and maintain communication with stakeholders to achieve asset protection goals.

  • Research and report on risks to the company's interests.
  • Develop and implement programs and procedures for asset protection.
  • Manage and train third-party contracted security personnel.
  • Communicate with store and district management to meet asset protection objectives.
  • Analyze financial data related to asset protection programs and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to team members in the field.
  • Ensure compliance with asset protection policies and procedures based on location needs.
  • Mentor and develop staff through training and performance management processes.
  • Collaborate with various departments to prevent profit loss and ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of team members and oversee hiring and performance reviews.
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of loss prevention/asset protection experience, or High School Diploma/GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in analyzing and presenting information.
  • Experience with business and financial data analysis.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience handling confidential information such as HIPAA and PCI documentation.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  • Certification in Wicklander-Zulawski and LPC/CFI designation.
  • At least 3 years of experience with asset protection systems and equipment.
  • At least 1 year of experience in cross-functional team leadership.
