Job Summary Summary: Responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's assets and inventory, ensuring accurate tracking, maintenance, and optimization of assets throughout their lifecycle for the operating room. Reporting jointly to the Operations Director, CSPS and departmental finance leadership, the Manager, Asset Inventory, OR is responsible for overseeing the inventory of durable operating room assets, including surgical instruments, instrument sets, and the systems that support procedural care. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that inventory is accurate, available, and aligned with clinical and operational needs. The Manager oversees the full lifecycle of operating room assets, including procurement, repair coordination, replacement planning, and retirement, working closely with Central Sterile Processing & Supply (CSPS), perioperative teams, supply chain, finance, and vendors. The role is directly responsible for maintaining alignment between physical inventory and inventory systems and for ensuring that approved inventory changes are consistently implemented across workflows and systems. Operating in a matrixed environment, the Manager, Asset Inventory, OR serves as a key operational and systems partner across Procedural Services. The role regularly interfaces with nursing leaders, surgeons, and operational stakeholders to support inventory-related decision-making, identify opportunities for optimization and standardization, and facilitate system and process improvements that contribute to quality, efficiency, and cost stewardship. Supports strategic inventory decision-making and enterprise change initiatives across the AMCs.
