The Aspire Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) develops exceptional early‑career finance professionals through structured learning, global rotations, and hands‑on leadership experience. As the Aspire Program Manager, you will lead, develop, and inspire a global cohort of early‑career finance talent, driving a world‑class program experience that strengthens Baker Hughes’ future leadership pipeline. Fuel your passion The Aspire Program Manager oversees the lifecycle of early‑career Finance Aspires—from recruitment through onboarding, development, rotations, and final placement. You will ensure a consistent, high‑quality program experience through structured programming, strong stakeholder partnerships, and a relentless commitment to developing the next generation of finance leaders. Managing approximately 35 Finance Aspires globally, you will serve as their first‑line manager, providing coaching, performance guidance, and development support to shape their early‑career journey. You will partner closely with HR, Finance leadership, business champions, and rotational assignment leaders to strengthen talent development, ensure accountability, and continuously improve the Aspire learning experience.

Requirements

  • Have strong program management experience with demonstrated success leading or supporting enterprise‑level talent development or early‑career programs.
  • Have proven stakeholder management capability, with the ability to influence across global teams and diverse functional groups.
  • Bring a strategic mindset focused on leadership pipeline development, succession planning, and measurable business impact.
  • Have excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills, with the ability to deliver high‑quality program experiences.

  • Preferably have experience in early‑career rotational programs, leadership development, or high‑potential talent programs.

Responsibilities

  • Leading end‑to-end recruitment for the Finance Aspire Program by partnering with universities, early‑career teams, and business leaders to attract top-tier early‑career talent.
  • Delivering a structured and engaging onboarding experience that accelerates new Aspire success and sets clear expectations.
  • Serving as the direct manager for ~35 global Finance Aspires, providing coaching, performance feedback, and tailored career guidance.
  • Managing rotational placement, ensuring each Aspire receives meaningful developmental assignments aligned with program requirements and organizational needs.
  • Strengthening Aspire leadership readiness by evolving program content, expectations, and experiences to reinforce accountability and future‑focused capabilities.
  • Refining and enhancing the end‑to‑end learning journey, including classroom sessions, virtual experiences, leadership engagements, and milestone touchpoints.
  • Partnering with Finance leadership, business champions, and assignment leaders to ensure high-quality rotations, aligned expectations, and effective program governance.
  • Driving Aspire accountability by maintaining clear performance standards, development milestones, and ownership of the Aspire journey.
  • Partnering with global talent, HR, and Aspire program leaders to ensure alignment, consistency, and continuous improvement across functional Aspire programs.
  • Communicating program insights, progress updates, and recommendations to senior Finance leaders, including the Finance Executive Sponsor.
  • Fostering a strong global Aspire and alumni community to increase engagement, visibility, and long‑term connection to the organization.
  • Maintaining program reporting, including KPIs on rotation quality, Aspire progress, development feedback, and post‑program outcomes.
  • Preparing and executing the Aspire program calendar including key events, training sessions, leadership engagements, and major program milestones.
