About The Position

Manage and review the work and employees related to applications and systems to accomplish business objectives. Plan, conduct, and supervise all activities related to the design, development, implementation, and support of the internal and vendor business systems. Oversee activities to maintain and upgrade existing systems and applications across various platforms. Monitor project lifecycle and resources to ensure quality deliverables are implemented within budget and time constraints. Collaborate with agencies and departments to prioritize projects and align technology to meet strategic business requirements and objectives. Supports department leadership in the implementation of procedures, standards, improvements and goals.

Requirements

  • Knowledge in developing solutions using modern technologies like Microsoft .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Power Platform JavaScript, Python, SharePoint, Salesforce OnBase, AI, cloud based and other platforms.
  • Knowledge of system analysis, computer programming, and project management.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, including, but not limited to, Waterfall and Agile and knowledge of DevOps and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices.
  • Skill in oral and written communication, including the ability to document technical requirements and architecture designs.
  • Ability to manage professional and/or skilled support staff on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ability to lead within the established objectives and make decisions regarding daily priorities and the application of technical/business processes for a work group or segment of a department.
  • Ability to set overall direction and hold staff accountable for accomplishing work objectives by fostering positive relationships between employees, leadership, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to use organizational and/or department objectives and goals to identify processes by which to meet those goals.
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree or higher and
  • Five (5) years of application lifecycle management experience in client -server or cloud environments, including development, testing, production development, and maintenance, or directly related experience is required.
  • Three (3) years of prior supervisory experience is required.
