About The Position

In your role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing API divisional projects and serve as a liaison between the project team and the stakeholders. You will partner with the API Leadership Team, EHS, Supply Chain, Quality, etc., on site master planning to define improvement projects aligned with business strategy. You’ll manage projects and their budgets, prepare status reports, and support your project teams. Through your expertise and API involvement, you will help expand our culture promoting on-time project delivery and innovation in operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR an associate's degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong leadership and influencing capabilities across all organizational levels.
  • Significant API manufacturing experience.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in engineering highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and oversees operational and API-wide improvement projects, including those that are process-related, EHS-related, Quality/Compliance-related, and/or Capacity-related.
  • Works with project timelines to improve the company's production capabilities within regulations and cGMP guidelines.
  • Designs and estimates new projects, coordinates project approval with site-wide stakeholders, and manages project execution through project teams.
  • Facilitates meetings, issues meeting minutes, and publishes leadership updates.
  • Establishes or assists in establishing contingency plans for projects and trains personnel concerning new compliance initiatives.
  • Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity, innovation, and creativity.
  • Gathers, analyzes, and interprets information from multiple sources and identifies cause and effect relationships.
  • Ensures solutions are consistent with organizational objectives.
  • Adapts and responds positively to a variety of situations and people to meet changing departmental priorities.
  • Operates within established HR policies and is experienced in colleague relations issues.
  • Guides the successful completion of major programs as the project leader.
  • Contributes to the achievement of API-division, plant and/or global goals.
  • Monitors and manages the efforts of project teams to achieve delivery of short-term to mid-term goals.
  • Leads and motivates others, generating commitment and a shared sense of purpose.
  • Represents the organization as the project leader and interacts with senior internal and/or external personnel on matters requiring coordination between organizations.
  • Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings for internal and external representatives concerning specific operations.
